Check the price on Edmund first and try to negotiate on top of that.

  • A Luxury SUV at a very affordable price~ - 2017 Honda CR V

This is our third Honda CRV. The newly designed 2017 Honda CRV is more spacious, luxurious, quiet and comfortable. The 2017 CRV feels and drives like am Acura, Lexus or BMW. Our model - one level below the top of the line "Touring" is beautifully built - heated leather seats, custom dual heat/AC controls, outstanding stereo system, and lots of new safety features - including lane warning. One of the neatest new features is the new intelligent cruise control system which automatically adjusts if the car in front of you slows down. We also looked at the Subaru version - and found it was smaller, noisier, and much less luxurious. From all of our research, Honda also had the highest reliability and best resale value.

The new 2017 is by far the best value in this segment, and would highly recommend this vehicle.

  • Safety Features - best in show! - 2017 Honda CR V

I shopped and helped my 97yo grandfather a vehicle with safety features. This car had the best active safety features for under $30k. It will help you stay in your lane (steers you toward the center of the lane). Subaru/Toyota didnt have this feature. The only thing needs improvement is the volume of the beep for blind spot needs to have even louder setting option.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE my THIRD CRV the BEST SO FAR!!! - 2017 Honda CR V

Well I am a Honda girl, it started with my 2005 CRV that took me 120,000 miles with just one issue, a rear caliper and continued on when we traded it for a leased 2014 model. The lease was up in a couple months so my husband and I decided to test drive the newly released 2017. We LOVED it! Purchased and drove it home that day!! WOW what a difference 3 years makes! Whenever my husband is in this vehicle he comments on how much better this CRV is compared to our last ones. The heated leather seats are so much more comfortable than previous ones, the interior has finally been upgraded to more quality materials and it shows. Love the feel of the steering wheel, the leather accents are wonderful. The ride is much quieter and more comfortable. I was impressed with how much less road noise this model has. LOVE the automatic high beams !!! Never have to remember to turn them on and off anymore, I was skeptical on how well they would adjust automatically but I am amazed at how perfectly they do the job. NO GAS CAP to fight with anymore, thats a great feature too! Love the auto tailgate, FINALLY!! I was originally considering buying smaller SUV but test drove the HRV months ago and wasnt impressed with the power it had. This is definitely the largest CRV to date and the extra room in back seat is obvious to all. Our Goldendoodle is usually the only one back there and she seems pretty happy with it ;) It did take me a bit to get used to all the new tech though. There is so much more to learn when driving these new tech savoy vehicles, but I am impressed with all of it! Honda did an amazing job of taking the dependable but kinda boring CRV and raising it to a whole new level! Lots of comfort and charm, LOVE it!

I traded my 2004 BMW X3 for the 2017 CR-V. So far Im loving it. The X3 was a beast in terms of power so I was a little worried I was going to be left feeling underwhelmed by the CR-V. But with the CVT/turbo combination its actually surprisingly nimble. The CVT is an unusual experience too. It happily sits in the 2000-3000 rpm range (where the power is coincidentally) for most normal driving. That pretty much means you have power on tap whenever you need it. Linear and predictable which is great. The driver and passengers seats are really comfortable and the car is crammed with useful (as well as some not so useful) technology. The adaptive cruise control with lane keeping assist really works well beyond what I would have expected. Ive so far only had to fill the tank yesterday after 2 weeks and 400 miles. The trip computer is indicating an average of 31 mpg right now and its still climbing although. I tend to do most of my miles on the I5 which is stop and go a lot of the time so that figure is actually quite impressive. The cabin is particularly roomy. We get two surfboards and gear in comfortably with way more spare room than in the X3. All in all I love my new CR-V so far! One minor niggle is that the push button on the overhead light in the cabin is stuck but Ill be leaving it in to be replaced soon so its not worth complaining about!

Drive the turbo for a little longer than normal. It is very very load on acceleration, and during normal driving.

  • The Best SUV I Found - 2017 Honda CR V
    By -

I had an 8-year-old Ford Escape and was looking for a new mid-size SUV. I researched them all, and ended up test driving the Kia Sorrento, the Ford Escape, the Honda CRV, and a couple of Hyundais. After the test drives I narrowed the field to the first three, in that order. I then reluctantly eliminated the Sorrento (a very comfortable car) because it was larger than I needed, did not get particularly good mileage. (I found that all of these SUVs are rather similar in body style and basic features; all were good to drive.) I then test drove the Escape and the CRV again. Both were excellent. The Escape had a bit more power while the CRV better gas mileage and a better ride. The determining factor was the overall package: the CRV-EX had all the features I wanted, such as adjustable cruise control and Android Auto, while the Escape lacked the former unless I went to the Titanium, the top (and most expensive) model. I decided on the CRV and have been very happy with my choice. The car has everything I could ask for. The ride is luxuriously comfortable, the steering precise and the engine is peppy enough for the way I drive. Im getting over 30mpg with mostly city driving. The interior is well appointed and the car is a pleasure to drive.
